BofA Hires Ex-AllianceBerstein Exec As CIO of Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management

Bank of America has appointed Lisa Shalett as chief investment officer of Merrill Lynch Global Wealth Management and head of investment management and guidance.
Shalett, who steps in from AllianceBernstein, where she was partner and head of global growth equities, will be responsible for the company's global investment strategy, the firm said in a statement. In addition, she will oversee the investment management and guidance unit's investment analytics and investment guidance teams, including the ultra high net worth investment office.
Based in New Jersey, she reports directly to Kunal Kamlani, the head of global investment solutions.
